These Terms govern your use of the websites operated by UNITI ("UNITI"): this site (unitiusa.org), the member hub at uniti.team with its classifieds and jobs board, and the training portal at upskill.uniti.team (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
1. The Service
UNITI is a nonprofit that runs member services: career guidance and job assistance with a training track, programs for kids and teens, sports, a Business & Real Estate Forum, classifieds, events, and a jobs board. Membership costs $100 per year per family, payable when you join, and covers every member of one household. Members pay no additional fees for programs. Non-members may take part in individual programs where offered, for a fee stated on the program or event page. Membership and program fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. Some events may carry a cost-recovery fee, stated on the event page before you register.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account. UNITI Kids Enrichment programs are registered by a parent or guardian.
- Provide accurate information and keep it current. One account per person.
- You are responsible for your account's security.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Redistribute or sell session videos, documents, or other materials
- Post content that is harassing, deceptive, illegal, or infringing
- Advertise businesses or products to members outside the places designed for it, or post paid or promoted content in classifieds
- Spam or send unsolicited messages to members
- Impersonate anyone, scrape the Service, or bypass security
4. Member-to-member services
The Business & Real Estate Forum, classifieds, and the jobs board connect members with each other. UNITI connects members; it does not broker, lend, or advise. Licensed members speak for themselves. Any transaction, agreement, or advice between members is solely between those members. UNITI takes no fee and is not a party to it.
5. Sports and in-person events
Physical activities carry risk. By registering for a sports event you accept the liability waiver shown at registration and confirm you are fit to take part. Parents accept it on behalf of their children.
6. Member content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant UNITI a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and store it within the Service. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or community norms.
7. Program materials
Videos, documents, curriculum, and certificates remain the intellectual property of UNITI and their creators. They are for your personal learning.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". Training is educational; UNITI does not provide externally recognised certifications, employment guarantees, or professional advice of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, UNITI, its volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.
10. Changes and contact
